RCI Manual of Practice, Volume III The RCI Manual of Practice, Volume III was originally intended to complement what were then only conceptualized publications meant to codify the best practices of a roof consultant and provide professional guidelines and standards for the operation of business. Compiled by numerous dedicated professionals over the last 20 years, Volume III was the first of the would-be series of manuals to be published. An entirely new publication, however, the Manual of Practice: Roof, Exterior Wall and Waterproofing Consulting and Quality Assurance Observation, is now available (see preceding page). While the majority of the forms provided in Volume III are also supplied in the Appendix of the new publication, some of the forms continue to be found only in Volume III. This volume is a definitive collection of forms and documents addressing all aspects of a roofing project, from the bid process to the project closeout. It provides standardized guides from which to formalize the relationship amongst consultant, owner, and contractor. These documents serve to assist consultants with consistent industry-recognized forms of contract to be utilized on any project, no matter the size. The forms may be modified by the user for the needs of a specific project. They are available (at one, inclusive price) in a paper hard copy in an attractive, three-ring, tabbed binder; and on CD in both an Adobe Acrobat portable document format (PDF) that can be filled in as a computer form and transferred via e-mail and a Microsoft Word format for easy personalization.
